• Customer oriented, flexible to help customers when needed.
• All-round, hands-on.
• Eager to define concepts, clear interfaces, modular building blocks.
• Team player, in the own company and towards customers and consortium partners/suppliers.
• Likes to help building a company, entrepreneurial spirit.
• Efficient in dealing with time pressure.
• Hands-on, helps on the floor during installation, commissioning & service in
the field with problem analysis / resolution where required.
• Experience with R2R platforms is an advantage.
• Base location: Eindhoven; some travel required.
• You need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken. WE OFFER

SYSTEM ARCHITECT OUR CUSTOMER
Being a system integrator our customer offers Roll-to-Roll production platforms for ‘Printed Electronics’ applications such as PV Solar and OLED lighting. It is expected that the production of electronics on flexible substrates using printing and coating methods will offer huge growth opportunities in the coming decades. They focus on product development, marketing & sales and customer support; manufacturing is outsourced to one or more contract manufacturing partners. Our customer operates in a large network of technology providers; it is their role to integrate various manufacturing processes in line on the Roll-to-Roll platform. Our customer is an OEM in start-up phase. The team consisting of roughly 10 people currently operates as a part of the a big Technologies Group and intends to be a separate legal entity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • System specifications and architecture. • Definition of a generic machine platform, based on modular design. • Division of complex system in manageable subtasks. • Hardware/Software interface development for ‘own’ and ‘third party’ modules. • Setting up new development environment. • Responsible for successful commissioning of developed product. • Input for development milestone planning. • High level sketches in 3D (Pro Engineer). • Cost estimations. • Machine safety. • Input for technology and product development roadmap. REQUIREMENTS
• At least 5 years relevant experience in high tech equipment. • Customer oriented. • Eager to define concepts, interfaces, mechatronics architecture. • Team player, in the own company and towards consortium partners and suppliers. • Likes to help building a company, entrepreneurial spirit. • Efficient in dealing with time pressure and budget constraints.
• Hands-on, helps on the floor during installation / commissioning and in the field with problem analysis / resolution where required. • Experience with R2R platforms is an advantage. • Base location: Eindhoven; some travel required, typically 20%. • You need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken. WE OFFER
• Gross annual salary between 45.360 € - 71.280 €, to be defined according to candidate’s experience, competencies and maturity. • Temporary contract for 1 year (minimum). • Relocation packages. CONTACT
